Poughkeepsie...The Poughkeepsie-Dutchess County Transportation Council (PDCTC) will host an Open House on Wednesday, May 6th on the campus of Bard College to gather public input on existing transportation safety and mobility issues along NYS Route 9G in Red Hook and Tivoli, CR 78 (Broadway) through Tivoli, and CR 103 (Annandale Road) through Bard College. The Open House is part of the PDCTC’s initial work on a Corridor Management Plan (CMP) for the Upper Route 9G area. Motivated by transportation safety concerns in the area, the CMP will identify a variety of priority actions to improve vehicular and non-vehicular (i.e. walking and biking) safety and mobility along the corridor. The CMP will also evaluate the impacts of development proposals and local land use laws on future operations and safety.
