Poughkeepsie… Everyone approaches life a little differently. That is what makes people and the communities we live in unique and vibrant. For those with special needs though, some of the things that make them unique can also keep them on the sidelines; separate from the fun, separate from understanding. Sometimes we don’t always know how to connect with someone who has special needs, creating unintended barriers. As part of his 2015 State of the County Address, Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro will discuss how Dutchess County is THINKING DIFFERENTLY to assist those individuals with special needs and their families, partnering with great people and organizations to make our community more inclusive for individuals of all abilities.
