Poughkeepsie… This year’s long, harsh winter season has finally ended and spring is here! It’s time for spring cleaning and de-cluttering garages, and basements. Fortunately, whether it is pool chemicals no longer needed, leftover varnish from last year’s project, or an old television, it can be safely disposed of. The Dutchess County Resource Recovery Agency will hold the second of eight scheduled Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Events, Saturday, May 3rd. A complete list of accepted material is included below. Pre-registration is required and there is a $5 fee.
